Why use satellite Internet instead of cable Internet? Well the main reason is location. Satellite Internet can be accessed virtually anywhere in the world, even when traveling. Of course, cable Internet can't be attached to a computer in a boat, airplane or car.

With Satellite Internet, data are sent through frequencies and is received by a satellite dishes installed in your vicinity. Weather conditions and other elements can affect the sending and receiving of these frequencies, which could slow down or halt your Internet access. Also the cost of installation and monthly dues of Cable Internet is much cheaper than Satellite Internet.
